What microphones are compatible?
The Ovaro Echo is currently designed to work with DJI Mic Mini 1, Mic 2, Mic 3, and Rode Wireless ME transmitters. Have another mic you want a mount for? Contact us.
How does it mount to the vehicle?
The Echo threads directly into your vehicle's factory tow hook receiver using the supplied tow hook shaft.
Installation takes minutes and requires no permanent modifications to the vehicle.
Will it fall off while driving?
The Echo was designed specifically for automotive use and has been tested during extended highway and spirited driving conditions.
As with any mounted accessory, proper installation and tightening are required before operation.
Why not use the magnet on the trunk?
The magnet provided with DJI Microphones can leave scratches on your trunk paint during use or installation from movement. Even more so if the trunk is dirty. Ovaro Echo reduces that risk to zero.
Does it affect audio quality?
The purpose of the Echo is to improve audio consistency by placing the microphone in an optimal location behind the vehicle.
Audio quality will still depend on microphone settings, vehicle setup, and environmental conditions.
