Universal Mount

Built to attached to virtually any cars factory tow hook.

The clamp fastens the mic holder around the eye loop of your tow hook, allowing for extremely secure placement at any angle.

Tools needed: Flat-head screwdriver
Installation Instructions

Ensure thourough cleaning of tow-hook threads prior to installation.

  1. Attach mic holder to shaft via 2.5mm screw. Choose 4-way orientation, and tighten no more than 3 ft-lbs
  2. Thread mount assembly into tow hook receiver on vehicle via hand, or 19mm hex on shaft. Tighten no more than 9 ft-lbs.
  3. Snap microphone into holder, and record!

Note: The DJI Mic 3 holder uses a retention mechanism incorporating the DJI provided magnet. Due to this, it is recommended the holder is secured in an upright position to prevent the microphone from dismounting during use.
